The Royals kick off the 2012 season in Anaheim against the Angels today. The opening day lineup is largely made up of familiar faces from the 2011 season. The lineup includes many familiar faces who ended the season last year as part of the team. Yuniesky Betancourt is back for another stop in Kansas City after playing for Milwaukee in 2011. One notable absence is Salvador Perez, who is not starting despite out hitting Brayan Peña by a wide margin in 2011.
