By the way, I left one other thing out of my email. Do you ever get the feeling that Dayton has a gambling problem. He wants to believe he is a big team GM and when the pressure is on, he starts making deals without really understanding what he is doing or sticking to the plan. That is when we get trades like Melky for Sanchez or signings like Davies. I just hope someone in the Royals front office pulls him aside in the next few weeks and stops him from making any deals just for the deal sake. Making the right deal can help the team but making the wrong one can destroy them just as easily.

Wrote you guys an email about the pod cast. Sorry was so long. Lot of ground to cover and did not even get to Getz versus Colon versus Giavotella.
By the way, Getz will not go until Yost does. Sorry but it is true. Funny, they dumped Pena to save $500k but Getz will get the same salary and still be playing in 2013 instead of Colon, Falu, Abreu or Gia who are all $500k cheaper as well. Actually I do like Getz and think he has some value as a #9 hitter. I just wish the message from Yost and Moore was consistent.
And I like Mendoza as well. I also think Moscoso may be the hidden surprise. We shall see.
