Omaha moved a game away from elimination by losing to Reno. Nate Adcock pitched a very good game giving the Chasers 8 innings with 8 strikeouts. Unfortunately he gave up 2 Home runs in the 3rd, a 2-run homer and a solo shot. While Adcock pitched well, the offense was silent. They only collected 5 hits, 2 of which came off Anthony Seratelli’s bat. As a team they were 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position as they were shut down by Aces starter Joe Martinez and 3 relievers.

In the summer of 1997 a ten year old boy listened to his first baseball game. He had no connection to baseball besides a glove and a couple cards, but from that point on it was his obsession. Some people are raised Royals fans, others are just born fans. Never seen a winner, but keeping the dream alive one blog at a time.
