This Day in Fictional History; Armando Galarraga Continues Dominance of KC
RHP Armando Galarraga continued his dominance of the Kansas City Royals on June 13, 2010 with 6.1 innings of 4 hit ball to help earn a 5-3 victory for his Detroit Tigers. Â Lefty Bruce Chen took the loss for the Royals, falling to 1-4 on the season as the Royals dropped their 19th game in 28 tries. Â The upper half of the order couldn’t cash in for the Royals as David DeJesus, Mike Aviles and Billy Butler combined to go 0-11. Â The one bright spot for the Royals was Gregor Blanco was 1-4 with a run scored and 2 RBI surely earning a spot in the future for this club thanks to his solid on base skills, solid defense and speed.
Of course this game didn’t happen and is a result of a Strat Blog that I found.
Here is the Boxscore with a small recap http://stratomaticbaseball.blogspot.com/2013/01/kc-28-vs-det-28.html
