Royals Prospects Just Missing the Cut

With the departure of Wil Myers the Royals don’t have an elite prospect at the upper levels of baseball as pointed out by many but they do have a couple that could be considered that very this time next year. Prospect analyst Jonathan Mayo points that out with his recent Shortstop, LHP and RHP rankings slipping Adalberto Mondesi, John Lamb and Kyle Zimmer in that 11-15 range for both positional groups.

Mayo on Mondesi - Raul’s kid is exceptionally young and exceptionally talented. Don’t be surprised to see him higher on this list in years to come.
