Royals to compete in the Arizona Fall League

The Kansas City Royals announced seven of their eight players for the upcoming Arizona Fall League.

LHP Justin Marks and Jon Keck
RHP Edwin Carl
IF Orlando Calixte, Whit Merrifield, Alex McClure
OF Brian Fletcher

The Royals have announced the last spot will be used by a pitcher but have yet to announce who that will be.

George Brett and the voice of Denny Matthews deepened my love even more for the Royals as my father and I spent summers listening to the team on our deck or in the car on our way to or from my little league and high school games.     Royals are reporting that Calixte is a taxi squad member only meaning he will play on Weds and Sats…..also they are saying Fletcher has been designated as the Royals “priority player”, assuring he will be granted maximum playing time……….I didn’t know these the designations exsisted

    I’ve asked John’s dad James about that he is unsure at this point. I would expect to see it as long as he shows off well during instruct games.

    AFL rosters are pretty fluid; any chance that John Lamb will see some time there too?
