The Prospect Handbook from Baseball America has dropped as I received my edition last week and they have ranked the Royals system at #18 in the Handbook after the Myers and Odorizzi trade. On the other hand Keith Law of ESPN has released his organizational rankings today placing the Royals at #11. Law reiterated that the Royals have plenty of talent in the system that could be featured in many Top 100 list next year.

The experts seem united in their ranking of the St. Louis Cardinals having the top system in the minors with future studs Oscar Taveras, Trevor Rosenthal, Carlos Martinez and Shelby Miller.
